A used work vehicle can carry repair needs that are not obvious from an advertisement or a quick walkaround. Discuss an inspection with our team before committing to the purchase.
Commercial trailers
Dry vans, reefer trailer bodies, flatbeds and other commercial trailers. Discuss floor, door, frame, brake and suspension checks.
Buses & shuttles
Commercial passenger-transport vehicles. Tell us about the vehicle, intended use and any A/C, brake, electrical or lift concerns.
Agree on the checks before the appointment.
The inspection depends on the vehicle, condition, access and requested scope. Topics to discuss include:
- Visible leaks, damage and overall condition
- Brakes, steering, suspension and tires
- Electrical, charging, lighting and A/C concerns
- Diagnostic checks and drivability concerns, where appropriate

Questions before you schedule?
Is this the same as an annual DOT inspection?
No. A pre-purchase inspection is a vehicle-condition assessment with an agreed scope. An annual DOT inspection is a separate service. Tell us which inspection you need when scheduling.
Can you inspect a used Isuzu, Hino, Ford or Volvo commercial truck?
Yes. Call with the year, model and intended commercial use so we can agree on the inspection scope and appointment. Medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks are part of our service focus.
Can the inspection be done at the seller’s location?
The primary appointment is at our Pompano Beach shop. If you need a visit elsewhere, ask first: availability, travel, access and inspection limitations must be confirmed individually.
Will you guarantee the vehicle will not need repairs?
No. An inspection cannot guarantee against hidden defects, untested systems or future failures. Ask which checks are included and how findings will be communicated before authorizing the inspection.
